But on a great night, you didn't do that...you found a great bunch of people, or maybe just one person, in one place, and you didn't leave. In fact, i'd say the best nights were the one's where you stayed in one place the longest (whether that's a bar, party or your friend/girlfriend's house). In my opinion, the idea that kids are now motivated to show the world that they've checked in everywhere is nothing short of lame. Just another example of social media gone wild.

I think part of the reason the volume in the social echo chamber seems so loud at times is part of what Brown alludes to. So many of us are recycling the same ol' same ol'. I think a lot of us get the "authentic" and "transparency" stuff.

That made me think about where I've been spending a lot of time recently.

Not surprising to a lot of you. I think this is more evidence that builds the case that "influence" trumps reach. In other words, I'll take quality over quantity when it comes to advice. That's magnified when advice is tied to your wallet.
